The WRHC sponsors an important, well-attended conference every year. This conference, which is organized around a particular theme, is hosted by a different member institution every year and attracts some of the brightest students and faculty from our region's honors programs. As many as 300 students each year present their scholarly and creative work at this conference. The conference also provides a venue for Scribendi, our student publication, to advertise its fine journal and to award honors students who have had scholarly and creative pieces as well as art work published in this journal. Finally, the conference provides a way for WRHC member institutions to communicate about best honors practices, the strengths and weaknesses of their respective programs, and ways to improve our various programs' curricular offerings and administrative support for our honors students.

If your institution is interested in hosting the next WRHC conference, please contact one of the WRHC officers or a member of the President's Council (see Officers link in the side bar).
